Line Cook

Requirements:
Past kitchen experience is required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Well-versed on all menu items and able to produce consistent and quality dishes in fast-paced and demanding environments and on all stations
  • Monitor wastage, cooking temps and quality to reduce additional costs, influence others on the cost of product and how it contributes to the profit and loss of the company
  • Production and a-la-carte dish(s) execution. Including meal prep and catering
  • Delegate some tasks as needed while also ensuring the proper procedure is followed when clocking in and out for shifts as well as breaks
  • Positive influence for teams under pressure and provide a welcoming work environment that increases staff morale
  • Attend “The Yard: Kitchen” training and support the mentoring and education of new and existing team members on areas they are looking to transition.
  • Be flexible on whatever duties or tasks you are asked to perform
  • Be available to help and collaborate with other stations if requested or needed.

Dishwasher/Busser Needed

Requirements:
N/a.

Responsibilities include:

  • Wash all sliver, plate ware, pots pans and cooking utensils for the restaurant.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Work well as a member of a team in order to provide excellent service in a chill but professional work environment.
  • Be flexible and willing to perform some minor food preparation tasks along with dishwashing duties.
  • Cleanliness and organization are key.
